Bill Pike (my dad) with his 13 point buck. He shot it with a black powder rifle on Dec. 3 2009 near Pine Island Minnesota. My turn around time at this point is around 6 weeks for fish mounts. I have updated the website with informational pages for the customers wondering about how to care for a freshly caught fish and question's about artificial heads for trout and salmon. Enjoy. Welcome to Pike's Taxidermy.  My name is Troy Pike.  I am a local fisherman (Rochester Minnesota area) and a professional fish taxidermist.  I am also a fish mount restoration specialist.  Fish taxidermy is the hardest to do of all taxidermy because of the art work involved and the blending of colors from one fish to another caught from different parts of the state or nation.  I went to the number one school in the nation for fish taxidermy.  American Institute of Taxidermy (AIT) in Bolder Junction Wisconsin with master instructor Dennis Rinehart (47 years of experience) in march of 2007.  I specialize in fish but I also do birds, Large Game and Small Game as well. Please look at the "I caught a nice fish now what" page.  It is full of information and tips for sportsmen who might catch that big one and arn't sure what to do with it.  Check back often to see whats going on in the shop.  If you have a fish or anything else you need done please call me.   507-398-3001  My address is 320 2nd AVE NE Byron MN. 55920
